Kururin Squash!

Kururin Squash! is a action-puzzle game developed by Eighting and published by Nintendo, released in 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan only.

Gameplay[]

Kururin Squash brings back the same gameplay from it's predecessors, now featuring 3D rendered graphics. The only major gameplay addition is the presence of collectible coins in the stages, which the player must collect to get a perfect rating on the stage and are also used to buy items. The player begins the game with the standard Helirin, but can obtain a variety of new ships throughout the game, all of which have their own gameplay quirks. Boss levels now play like regular levels, where the player must use these new ships.

Story[]

Rin village is always peaceful. The town square is now crowded with people who walk and shop. But Kururin isn't there. Not only Kururin, but also Chikurin, Marilyn, and Totorin, who should be on vacation, are not there. Kakarin, who is always waiting for everyone at home, isn't there either.

Is something wrong? No, no, its all right. Because the Fukubiki that Kururin drew in the shopping district was a big hit!! They all went out to the first-class "4 Nights and 5 Days Family Tour of 4 Countries"!

The whole family enjoyed everything from Sweet Island, the land of sweets, Natural World, the land of forests and the sea, Snowscape, the snowy country of the north, and Future Vision, a big city.

But when Kururin finally arrived, something was not right. When he went out, the whole family should have been 13 people. There are only three people at home: Kururin, Kakarin, and Totorin. None of his younger brothers or sisters were there.

"Oh my, did they get lost again?"

"This can't be, I have to come back and find everyone!"

Then, while Totorin and Kakarin watched over, Kururin boarded Helirin again and set out on a journey. But this time, there may be dangers a little different from usual...
